Enchantments overview
Overview
The enchantment list combines vanilla Minecraft enchants and non-vanilla enchants you may see on this server. Vanilla rows follow current Java (including spear and Lunge from 1.21+). Columns include item icons (compatible gear), max level, Treasure (treasure-style obtainability), and Villager (whether non-vanilla YAML allows trading).
How you get enchantments
- Enchanting table — Spend levels and lapis; offers depend on bookshelves and item type.
- Anvil — Combine gear with books or other items (level cost + prior work).
- Trading — Librarians sell books.
- Loot — Chests, fishing, mobs, raids.
- Grindstone — Strip enchants (some XP back).
Vanilla: enchantments that conflict
These groups cannot combine on the same item in survival.
| Group | Pick one |
|---|---|
| Weapon damage (sword/axe/spear) | Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods |
| Armor protection | Protection, Fire/Blast/Projectile Protection |
| Boots | Depth Strider, Frost Walker |
| Tool drops | Silk Touch, Fortune |
| Trident | Loyalty, Riptide; Channeling vs Riptide |
| Crossbow | Multishot, Piercing |
| Bow | Infinity, Mending |
Vanilla: treasure enchants
Frost Walker, Soul Speed, Swift Sneak, and Mending are obtained like treasure (loot, villagers, fishing, etc.), not the basic table.
